My name is Shaun Byrne and I am your Pauline Hanson’s One Nation candidate for the seat of Aspley in the next State Election.
I am 43 years old, and live at Chermside West with my two beautiful Children who are 2 and 5 with my oldest starting prep at a wonderful local school next year. My partner (Vanessa) whom I have been with for eight years is a medical scientist at one of our great hospitals.
My family love living in this electorate and we frequently visit the local areas such as John Goss Reserve, Carseldine Markets and Geebung RSL to name a few.
I previously served in our great Defence Force in the Army for 16 years and served under the United Nations on operational deployment. I also worked for Queensland Health as a Fire and Security Officer protecting our hard working doctors, nurses, patients and visitors.
I chose to run in this election because I am tired of not seeing common sense used in the decisions affecting all of Queensland. Our cost of living is skyrocketing, especially the price of energy. Our Pensioners who have worked in Qld their entire life and paid their taxes are being left behind. Law and Order needs things like a public sex offenders register to keep our children safe, the rebadging and appropriate powers given to the Queensland Police and mandatory sentences for any assaults on our emergency services, and we will tackle Domestic Violence head on as this issue effects Men and Women.
As a party I will also state once again –
- We will not sell any Assets
- We will reduce the cost of power
- We will abolish the safe schools program
- We will base our policies for the good of the people, from the grassroots up.
There are many other issues we need to address on top of these as well and once we govern or even hold the balance of power we can tackle them head on, and you have mine and One Nation’s promise that we will tackle them head on. Pauline Hanson’s One Nation want to put people before politics and let the people know they have someone listening to them once again. I will be your voice in parliament.
